A submission identified as spam by Akismet will then have its entry property set to spam, which will ensure notifications arent processed and submission data isnt sent on to any add-ons.
Site-Wide and Form-Level Settings
The Gravity Forms Akismet Add-On gives you control over your setting preferences, both globally and at form-level. Enable or disable the Akismet Add-On across your whole site via the Gravity Forms Settings page. Then make decisions on a per-form level by configuring Akismet through Form Settings.
Mapping Form Fields
To ensure Akismet filters your form entries correctly, you need to send accurate data to the service. The Gravity Forms Akismet Add-On allows you to map your form fields to ensure the correct field data is sent to Akismet, helping to provide more reliable results.
